Splitting the Sky Meets Cynthia McKinney at University of Calgary - March 9th, 2010

Splitting the Sky (aka John Boncore) is the man who attempted to arrest former President and credibly accused war criminal George W. Bush in Calgary on March 17th, 2009. STS was arrested by police and charged with "obstruction" and was on trial for this on March 8th and 9th, 2010. He pleaded not guilty, invoking a defence of "civil resistance". Former Congresswoman and Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney came to Calgary to support STS and to present evidence in court on his behalf. The trial was to have taken 5 days, however, the judge closed down the proceedings after just 2 days and did not wish to hear from Ms. McKinney and several other defence witnesses. The case is now adjourned until June 7th, 2010 at which time the judge will bring in his verdict.

In this 2 hour meeting which took place in the evening of March 9th at the University of Calgary, you will hear Prof. Tony Hall, Cynthia McKinney and Splitting the Sky discussing what he did and why, as well as Q&A with the audience. This is unedited footage.

On March 17th, 2009 Splitting the Sky (aka John Boncore) was arrested and charged with obstruction (as he fully expected) when he tried to serve George W. Bush with a citizen’s warrant, and to arrest him to stand trial for war crimes and torture. In doing so, he sacrificed himself for ALL of us who are concerned with Truth, Peace and Justice. His trial took place on 8 and 9 March, and judgment will be passed on 7 June 2010. The trial was closed down by the state after 2 days, though he was originally given 5 days to present evidence of war crimes and torture, as well as the involvement of the Bush regime in the events of 9/11, to justify his actions under the legal principle of “civil resistance”.

Dacajaweiah, John Boncore, or Splitting the Sky, is not a man of few words. If you read his hefty 653-page autobiography, it is very clear that he has lived an extraordinary life and has survived more than his share of violence, to find deep within himself a well of energy and spirit enabling him to not only endure hardships, but to serve his people and the land in the timeless struggle against oppression and tyranny. From the Attica Rebellion to Gustafen Lake to Calgary in 2009, when he attempted a citizen’s arrest of George W. Bush, “Dac” has consciously taken a leadership role to politically challenge the powerful forces that dominate the North American continent. Brutally arrested for his action, he earned his “day in court” to voice not only his defense, but “to highlight the hypocrisy and criminality of the Canadian government for allowing Bush into Canada, and to firmly establish the legal defense of ‘civil resistance’, the duty of citizens to act when our governments and their agents are derelict in their duty. This will be very useful in the future to rein these criminals in.”

Prior to Bush’s visit, the group Lawyers Against the War asked Canadian officials to bar entry or try Bush for his suspected crimes since Canadian Law prohibits “people suspected of any involvement in torture or other war crimes and crimes against humanity from entering Canada for any period and for any purpose. The most recent report of the War Crimes Program affirms the necessity of barring war crimes suspects from Canada: ‘The most effective way to deny safe haven to people involved or complicit in war crimes or crimes against humanity is to prevent them from coming to Canada.’”

Lawyers Against the War and protestors implored the government to do their duty and arrest Bush. “Dac” was carrying papers detailing the evidence against George W. Bush, which he had planned to serve him with on behalf of the victims and the people of the world, and he raised his hands to show that he was “non-violent.” Dac was then thrown down, stomped on, kicked, handcuffed and led off to be brutalized in a Calgary jail.

Monday, March 8, 2010, he will have his opportunity to put forward his case and present evidence, with support, testimony and affidavits on his behalf from respected scholars, including David Ray Griffin, Peter Dale Scott, and Michel Chossudovsky, as well as from former US Congresswoman, outspoken human rights advocate, and former Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney. Professor Anthony J. Hall, author of The American Empire and the Fourth World and founding coordinator of Globalization Studies at the University of Lethbridge, stated last December:

“Splitting the Sky’s action in Calgary highlights the abject failure of law enforcement agencies to do their job. It highlights the unwillingness of police and those who direct them to apply the law equitably and independently…

“As the Nuremberg principles make clear, the implicated law enforcement officers cannot claim in their defense that they were merely following orders in deciding to arrest Splitting the Sky rather than George W. Bush.

“I propose that the trial of Splitting the Sky presents a platform for the elaboration of a new set of juridical rules and protocols to be known as The Calgary Principles.

“It has been six decades since the UN general assembly agreed to a succinct refinement of the principles that emerged from the trial of some of the top Nazis, as well as their juridical, medical, and industrialist accomplices. During those decades, there has been an intensification of the culture of impunity that immunizes those at the top of the hierarchy of wealth and power from any legal accountability for their crimes.

“Like the Tokyo trials of the defeated leadership of imperial Japan, the Nuremberg Trials were a classic example of victors’ justice.

“As long as the power politics of victors’ justice continues to protect the likes of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the rule of law remains a fraud. Under present conditions, the rule of law is a sad hoax designed to disguise the role of law enforcement agencies as protectors of the ill-gotten wealth often stripped from the branches of humanity that Frantz Fanon once labeled ‘the wretched of the earth.’

“The elaboration of the Calgary Principles will have to entail the quest for new language and juridical concepts to capture the full extent and complexity of international crime in the twenty-first century…

“Consider, for instance, the nature of the crime that takes place when whole populations are sentenced to endless futures of disproportionately high rates of genetic deformity through the saturation of their mother lands with depleted uranium. Consider the nature of a crime that would see a drug company covertly introduce a new disease strain in order to market a prepared antidote of vaccine to cure the disease it had disseminated.

“What names, what prohibitions, and what punishments do we need to respond to and discourage crimes that infect populations, deform populations, and even destroy whole ecosystems, making the renewal of all kinds of life, including human life, impossible to sustain?

“Hence it can be said that these days the most important agencies of the military-industrial complex and the national security state are the media conglomerates. These agencies of propaganda for an aggressive war bombard us on a daily basis with mental missiles of psychological warfare.

“The constant barrage of messages we receive that peace is to be found in war, that freedom is to be found in slavery, that wealth is to be found in indebtedness, and that truth is to be found in lies, is pulling humanity away from our fragile inheritance of reason, rationality, and enlightened discourse on the real menaces we face…”

Splitting the Sky’s action mirrors the actions of countless people in countless demonstrations that are taking place across the world where lives, land, forests, lakes, jobs, homes, species, and communities are threatened by powerful forces, making decisions in luxury and comfort, protected by men with guns from citizens trying to make their voices heard to protect that which they love and care deeply about. The trial will illustrate whether or not Canada is ruled by laws or by fear. Whatever happens, the struggle for truth, justice, and peace will continue.

Today the trial of Splitting the Sky commenced. Splitting the Sky attempted a citizens' arrest on credibly accused war criminal George W. Bush on March 17, 2009, and was arrested and jailed for doing so by police. Try as its representatives might to disguise their motivations with the kind PR spin doctoring we witnessed in the court today, the Calgary Police, the RCMP and its contractors were under the Harper government's strict political orders to protect the Alberta home turf of the current minority government that came to power as the holder of the Bushite franchise in Canada. Some have termed this historic proceeding as "The Trial of Splitting the Sky versus George W. Bush." From what I witnessed firsthand on day one, the government attempt to manage this highly volatile convergence of law and politics was an exciting affair.

The morning's proceedings were mostly filled with the testaments of the policemen involved in protecting Bush and arresting STS. Amazingly, when one of the policeman was asked why he had arrested the Mohawk activist, the official contended that he “was protecting STS” from Bush's henchmen. He went on to say that Bush's protectors carry “lethal weapons” and that they would in all have used them to kill the accused man. Rather than seek further information on Bush's private-Blackwater-style militia, the lawyers on both sides of the case passed over this startling revelation.

The presiding magistrate, Judge Manfred Delong, initially appeared, in my view, to be siding with the Crown prosecutor against STS's lawyer, Charles Davison. Davison's initial submission asked the court to allow for a distinction between “Obstructing a Police Officer” and “Preventing a Police Officer from Performing his Duty.” Davison's argument was disallowed by Judge Delong. From that point on, Mr. Davison appeared to be improvising in a defence on which the hopes of many in the anti-war activists are riding.

Certainly the turning point of the day came when STS took the stand to testify in his usual flamboyant, surprising and erudite manner. STS reminded the court that it was the same laws which the minority government eschewed vis-a-vis Bush which were invoked to keep British peace activist George Galloway MP out of Canada last March. STS opined: “All Galloway had been doing was bringing medical aide to Palestinians in Gaza, 2000 of whom Israel had massacred, but they barred Galloway from Canada using the same laws which they should have used to ban George W. Bush.”

The man who tried to arrest George W. Bush, and why.

On March 17, 2009 Splitting the Sky performed his civic duty, acting with respect of the law and the integrity of his the heart, on behalf of himself and millions of people around the world, in his attempt to arrest the credibly accused war criminal and former US President, George W. Bush. In doing so, he proved his loyalty and integrity in upholding the Great Law (Kaianereh’ko:wa) of his people, the Criminal Code of Canada, and the Nuremberg Principles and other international agreements concerning accused war criminals.

Who and what is on trial ?

When Splitting the Sky broke through police lines in his attempt to conduct a citizen’s arrest of former US President, George W. Bush, the Mohawk Freedom Fighter pierced a thick wall of tyranny. He broke through a tight phalanx of state protection for the perpetrators of War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity, and Crimes Against the Peace.

With his courageous act, Splitting the Sky announced the unwillingness of millions of global citizens to tolerate any longer the culture of impunity that places a small, interlinked global plutocracy above the law. David Ray Griffins Affidavit in support of John Boncore (Splitting the Sky)

The following is David Ray Griffin’s affidavit:

This affidavit is written in support of the claim by John Boncore that former Vice President Dick Cheney should be required to testify under oath in a court of law about his activities in relation to 9/11.

In my various books on the subject, I have shown that there are many good reasons to conclude that the official story about 9/11 false; that the 9/11 attacks were, at least in part, an inside job; and that Dick Cheney was at the center of this criminal and treasonous operation.

I.In “The New Pearl Harbor : Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11” (2004), I provided a summary of the various forms of evidence that the 9/11 Truth Movement had discovered at that time. I presented this summary as a prima facie argument that the 9/11 attacks had been orchestrated by Cheney, Rumsfeld, and other members of the Bush-Cheney administration.

II. In “The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions” (2005), I showed that “The 9/11 Commission Report,” which appeared in the summer of 2004, had either distorted or simply omitted the evidence summarized in my previous book. In a follow-up essay entitled “The 9/11 Commission Report: A 571-Page Lie” (available on the Internet), I summarized 115 lies of omission or commission in the Commission’s report that I had identified.

Some of these omissions and distortions involved Cheney in particular. For example:
The Commission’s report omitted “Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta’s testimony, given to the Commission itself, that Vice-President Cheney and others in the underground shelter were aware by 9:26 that an aircraft was approaching the Pentagon.”

The Commission’s report even claimed “that Cheney did not reach the underground shelter (the PEOC [Presidential Emergency Operations Center]) until 9:58”---which was about 45 minutes later than others, such as Mineta, Richard Clarke, and Cheney’s own photographer, said that he had gone down there.

The Commission’s report claimed that “Cheney did not give the shoot-down authorization until after 10:10 (several minutes after Flight 93 had crashed)” while omitting “Clarke’s own testimony, which suggests that he received the shoot-down authorization by 9:50 .”

III. In “Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory” (2007)---which was awarded a Bronze Medal in the 2008 Independent Publisher Book Awards---I responded to four publications of 2006 intended to bolster the official theory.

One of those publications was a Vanity Fair article, “9/11 Live: The NORAD Tapes,” which claimed that tapes released by NORAD in 2006 verified the claim of “The 9/11 Commission Report” about why the military was unable to intercept the four hijacked airliners. It claimed, for example, that the military was not even notified about American 77’s troubles until after it had struck the Pentagon---thereby contradicting the military’s earlier report, according to which it had been notified about this flight at 9:24 .

I reported, however, what I was told by Laura Brown, the Deputy in Public Affairs for the FAA. She had sent a memo to the 9/11 Commission explaining that the FAA had the FAA and the military had been in conversation about this flight even long before 9:24 . This memo was read into the 9/11 Commission’s record by Richard Ben-Veniste on May 23, 2003 (where it can still be read). And yet the Commission’s report, in rejecting the 9:24 time in favor of its own claim, simply ignored this memo.

IV. In my 2008 book, “9/11 Contradictions: An Open Letter to Congress and the Press,” I laid out 25 internal contradictions within the official story (in which one supporter of the official story contradicted another).
In some of the chapters, I treated in greater detail than before the above-noted contradictions involving Dick Cheney.

Another chapter deals with a contradiction involving Cheney’s long-time friend, Donald Rumsfeld, who was secretary of defense in 2001. Whereas the 9/11 Commission report supports Donald Rumsfeld’s claim that he was in his office with a CIA briefer until the Pentagon was struck (so that he had no “situational awareness” until almost 10:00), Richard Clarke had reported in his best-selling book, “Against All Enemies,” that Rumsfeld was in the Pentagon’s teleconferencing studio, participating in the teleconference Clarke was running from the White House, from about 9:15 until the Pentagon was struck.

Still another chapter deals with a similar contradiction involving General Richard Myers, who on 9/11 was the acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The 9/11 Commission supported his claim that he was up on Capitol Hill that morning, and that he had no idea what was going on until shortly before the Pentagon was struck. But Richard Clarke had reported that Myers, like Rumsfeld, was in the Pentagon’s teleconferencing studio, where he had ongoing conversations with Clarke about what was going on.

V. In my second 2008 book, “The New Pearl Harbor Revisited: 9/11, The Cover-Up, and the Exposé” (which was named “Pick of the Week” by Publisher’s Weekly in the third week of November 2008), I provided an overview of the cumulative case against the official story. Many of the points made in this book are summarized in the following article (available on the Internet):

Note: Although the points are stated briefly, I give in each case the pages in my most recent book---“The New Pearl Harbor Revisited”---where the issue is documented and discussed more extensively.)

(1) Although the official account of 9/11 claims that Osama bin Laden ordered the attacks, the FBI does not list 9/11 as one of the terrorist acts for which he is wanted and has admitted that it “has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11” (NPHR 206-11).

(2) Although the official story holds that the four airliners were hijacked by devout Muslims ready to die as martyrs to earn a heavenly reward, Mohamed Atta and the other alleged hijackers regularly drank heavily, went to strip clubs, and paid for sex (NPHR 153-55).

(3) Many people reported having received cell phone calls from loved ones or flight attendants on the airliners, during which they were told that Middle Eastern hijackers had taken over the planes. One recipient, Deena Burnett, was certain that her husband had called her several times on his cell phone because she had recognized his number on her Caller ID. But the calls to Burnett and most of the other reported calls were made when the planes were above 30,000 feet, and evidence presented by the 9/11 truth movement showed that, given the technology of the time, cell phone calls from high-altitude airliners had been impossible. By the time the FBI presented a report on phone calls from the planes at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui in 2006, it had changed its story, saying that there were only two cell phone calls from the flights, both from United 93 after it had descended to 5,000 feet (NPHR 111-17).

(4) US Solicitor General Ted Olson’s claim that his wife, Barbara Olson, phoned him twice from AA 77, reporting that hijackers had taken it over, was also contradicted by this FBI report, which says that the only call attempted by her was “unconnected” and hence lasted “0 seconds” (NPRH 60-62).

(5) Although decisive evidence that al-Qaeda was responsible for the attacks was reportedly found in Mohamed Atta’s luggage---which allegedly failed to get loaded onto Flight 11 from a commuter flight that Atta took to Boston from Portland, Maine, that morning---this story was made up after the FBI’s previous story had collapsed. According to that story, the evidence had been found in a Mitsubishi that Atta had left in the Logan Airport parking lot and the trip to Portland was taken by Adnan and Ameer Bukhari. After the FBI learned that neither of the Bukharis had died on September 11, it simply declared that the trip to Portland was made by Atta and another al-Qaeda operative (NPHR 155-62).

(6) The other types of reputed evidence for Muslim hijackers---such as videos of al-Qaeda operatives at airports, passports discovered at the crash sites, and a headband discovered at the crash site of United 93---also show clear signs of having been fabricated (NPHR 170-73).

(7) In addition to the absence of evidence for hijackers on the planes, there is also evidence of their absence: If hijackers had broken into the cockpits, the pilots would have “squawked” the universal hijack code, an act that takes only a couple of seconds. But not one of the eight pilots on the four airliners did this (NPHR 175-79).
(8) Given standard operating procedures between the FAA and the military, according to which planes showing signs of an in-flight emergency are normally intercepted within about 10 minutes, the military’s failure to intercept any of the flights implies that something, such as a stand-down order, prevented standard procedures from being carried out (NPHR 1-10, 81-84).

(9) Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta reported an episode in which Vice President Cheney, while in the bunker under the White House, apparently confirmed a stand-down order at about 9:25 AM, which was prior to the strike on the Pentagon. Another man has reported hearing members of LAX Security learn that a stand-down order had come from the “highest level of the White House” (NPHR 94-96).

(10) The 9/11 Commission did not mention Mineta’s report, removed it from the Commission’s video record of its hearings, and claimed that Cheney did not enter the shelter conference room until almost 10:00, which was at least 40 minutes later than he was really there, according to Mineta and several other witnesses, including Cheney’s photographer (NPHR 91-94).

(11) The 9/11 Commission’s timeline for Cheney that morning even contradicted what Cheney himself had told Tim Russert on “Meet the Press” September 16, just five days after 9/11 (NPHR 93).

(12) Hani Hanjour, known as a terrible pilot who could not safely fly even a single-engine airplane, could not possibly have executed the amazing trajectory reportedly taken by American Flight 77 in order to hit Wedge 1 of the Pentagon (NPHR 78-80).

(13) Wedge 1 would have been the least likely part of the Pentagon to be targeted by foreign terrorists, for several reasons: It was as far as possible from the offices of Rumsfeld and the top brass, whom Muslim terrorists presumably would have wanted to kill; it was the only part of the Pentagon that had been reinforced; the reconstruction was not finished, so there were relatively few people there; and it was the only part of the Pentagon that would have presented obstacles to a plane’s flight path (NPHR 76-78).

(14) Contrary to the claim of Pentagon officials that they did not have the Pentagon evacuated because they had no way of knowing that an aircraft was approaching, a military E-4B---the Air Force’s most advanced communications, command, and control airplane---was flying over the White House at the time. Also, although there can be no doubt about the identity of the plane, which was captured on video by CNN and others, the military has denied that it belonged to them (NPHR 96-98).

(15) The Secret Service, after learning that a second World Trade Center building had been attacked---which would have meant that terrorists were going after high-value targets---and that still other planes had apparently been hijacked, allowed President Bush to remain at the school in Sarasota, Florida, for another 30 minutes. It thereby revealed its foreknowledge that Bush would not be a target: If these had really been surprise attacks, the agents, fearing that a hijacked airliner was bearing down on the school, would have hustled Bush away. On the first anniversary of 9/11, the White House started telling a new story, according to which Bush, rather than remaining in the classroom several minutes after Andrew Card whispered in his ear that a second WTC building had been hit, immediately got up and left the room. This lie was told in major newspapers and on MSNBC and ABC television (NPHR 129-31).

(16) Given the fact that the Twin Towers and WTC 7 had steel columns running from their basements to their roofs, they simply could not have come down as they did---straight down at virtually free-fall speed---unless these columns had been sliced by means of explosives. Therefore, the official theory, according to which the buildings came down because of fire plus (in the case of the Twin Towers ) the impact of the planes, is scientifically impossible (NPHR 12-25).

(17) The destruction of the Twin Towers had many other features---such as the horizontal ejections of steel beams, the melting of steel, and the sulfidation and thinning of steel---that can be explained only in terms of powerful explosives. For example, the fires could not have come within 1000 degrees Fahrenheit of the temperature needed to melt steel (30-36).

(18) Members of the FDNY (Fire Department of New York ) provided oral histories shortly after 9/11 in which one fourth of them testified to having witnessed explosions in the Twin Towers . Explosions in the WTC 7 as well as the towers were also reported by city officials, WTC employees, and journalists (NPHR 27-30, 45-48, 51).

(19) Mayor Rudy Giuliani told Peter Jennings of ABC News that day: “we set up headquarters at 75 Barclay Street . . . , and we were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse. And it [the South Tower] did collapse before we could actually get out of the building.” However, there was no objective basis for expecting the towers to collapse; even the 9/11 Commission admitted that none of the fire chiefs expected them to come down. The FDNY oral histories show that the information that they were going to collapse came from the Office of Emergency Management---Giuliani’s own office. How could Giuliani’s people have known that the towers were going to come down, unless they knew that the buildings had been laced with explosives? (NPH 40)

(20) NIST, which produced the official reports on the Twin Towers and (recently) WTC 7, has been “fully hijacked from the scientific to the political realm,” so that its scientists are little more than “hired guns,” a former employee has reported, and the 9/11 Commission was no more independent, being run by Philip Zelikow, who was essentially a member of the Bush White House (NPHR 11, 238-51).

(21) The official story about 9/11 is now rejected by constantly growing numbers of physicists, chemists, architects, engineers, pilots, former military officers, and former intelligence officials (NPHR xi).

VI. To expand on the final point of that essay: During recent years, the official story has been publicly rejected by various organizations of scientists and professionals.

These organizations include Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (which has over 700 licensed members), Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, Intelligence Officers for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice (which has hundreds of scientists), Scientific Panel for the Investigation of Nine-Eleven, Veterans for 9/11 Truth (which includes several former military officers), and Political Leaders for 9/11 Truth (which includes past or present members of the parliaments of Australia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Sweden, the UK, the United States, and Europe).

As these organizations show, among independent scientists and professionals in the relevant fields who have studied the evidence, the weight of scientific and professional opinion is now overwhelmingly on the side of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

VII. The quality and breadth of the 9/11 Truth Movement’s support is also illustrated by the list of people who have endorsed my books, which includes:

VIII. There is, in sum, more than enough evidence to subpoena former Vice President Dick Cheney in order to force him to testify under oath about what really happened on 9/11, beginning with contradictions involving his own activities.

If Mineta's testimony is to be taken into account, and there is no apparent reason why it should not be, questions about the timing of events the morning of 9/11 come into focus. Most obvious is, if the standing order given by the Vice President prior to the aircraft hitting the Pentagon was not a shoot down order, then what was it? Perhaps it was the danger of this question, and the danger that Cheney would have had to commit perjury to uphold the timeline reported in the mainstream press, that caused the Vice President to testify to the Commission along with the President in closed session, with no transcript, no witnesses, and no public accountability.

Today, multiple serious investigations are underway as to the evidence used by the Bush administration to justify the war in Iraq (Plame/Wilson incident), and when the administration actually decided to invade Iraq (Downing Street Memos). In fact, it is widely known that Bush declared his desire to invade Iraq to an official biographer in 1999, even before he was appointed President by the Supreme Court. Given what is known today about the deceiving of the American public in order to justify the invasion of Iraq, and given what is known about the 9/11 Commission Report and the unanswered questions surrounding the attacks of 9/11. Is there not sufficient reason to include 9/11 in the overall inquiry into possible criminal actions of the Bush-Cheney administration?

STS was arrested by Calgary Police this year for attempting a citizen's arrest of ex-US president, George Bush, under Canada's War Crimes & Crimes Against Humanity Act. This Act obligates Canada to bar suspected war criminals from entry or arrest them upon landing in the country. Despite this legal obligation and PM Harper's declaration that "Canada will not be a safe haven for war criminals", Canada spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide security for Bush and prevented citizens from carrying out the law.

Olympics' Top Cop Helped Blow up Truck at Gustafsen Stand-off

RCMP's Bud Mercer was in the thick of several famous clashes with dissenters. This story, with video of the exploding truck, is first in a series.

Bud Mercer pictured rifles aimed at him as he pushed deeper into the forest. A short run behind him, past mid-sized poplars and aspens and scraggly bush, lay the smoking remains of a red pick-up truck, disabled minutes earlier by RCMP explosives. A yellow Labrador retriever was slumped close to it. Two police bullets had cut the dog down as it fled on the rutted gravel road. Mercer feared an ambush in the sparse forest. He strained the leash to keep Lukar, his German shepherd police dog, from running too fast. He was flanked by three other officers. The team squatted close to the forest floor every 12 metres, muscles tense. Within minutes, they broke through the bushes and onto the grassy shoreline of Gustafsen Lake. Mercer saw the two fugitives, stripped to their waists, wading into the water. He went to unclip Lukar, knowing the police dog would attack.

But before he could do it, buzzing, whining bullets ripped through the air above him. He hesitated.

On Sept. 11, 1995, up to 7,000 police gunshots climaxed a month-long standoff with natives in the backwoods of interior B.C. Fifteen people were convicted for their armed defence of sacred land they said was never ceded to Canadian settlers.

Mercer now commands a $491.9 million RCMP-led force, tasked with securing the 2010 Winter Olympics. He's a central figure in the biggest peace-time security operation in Canada's history. When athletes and officials arrive next February, many observers wonder if -- and how -- he'll unleash that force.*

Gustafsen Lake isn't the only high profile clash of law enforcement with dissenters where Bud Mercer played a key role. He was on the frontlines when APEC protesters were pepper-sprayed in 1997. And when tree-sitters tried to stop logging in the Elaho Valley in 2000, Mercer led a team to roust them from their perches. The Tyee and 24 Hours have researched these incidents, interviewing Mercer and many people involved, in order to provide a multi-part, in-depth portrait of the top cop of the 2010 Olympics -- his present duties and past controversies. There's lots of good news on the accountability front. By now, I hope you know about
the Brussels Tribunal's filing in Spain on war crimes committed in Iraq.  I will write
more on that later because in Luala Lumpur, I will meet with more Iraqi victims and will
have a lot more to say after I've spoken with them.

John Boncore, Splitting the Sky, Native American freedom fighter now living in Canada
attempted to hold George Bush accountable for his war crimes while Bush was on a visit
in Canada.  Splitting the Sky tried to serve a people's warrant on Bush.  Splitting the 
Sky is right.  Now, he has a court date in March 2010 and we need to support him.  As I 
learn more from him, I'll definitely pass the information along.  Some of us might need 
to plan a trip to Canada for March!!

Splitting the Sky Survives Another Close Brush With Death

The man who tried to arrest George Bush in Calgary, who Police or Intel Agents attempted to provoke and arrest at a demonstration in Toronto last week, who survived 9/11 in New York, the Gustafsen Lake Stand Off in 1995, and the Attica Rebellion in 1971 lives to fight another day after serious, suspicious, car accident near Vancouver, BC !

Dear Friends,

over the weekend, our brother Dacajeweiah “Splitting the Sky” (aka John Boncore) was in Vancouver, BC for a few days to audition for an acting role in a movie.

On Monday June 8th, 2009, he was heading home and was going to stop in Maple Ridge (in the Fraser Valley) to see me. One of his sons was with him and was driving their older model Nissan Maxima.

I had given STS instructions the previous night on how to get here and the best route to take. At around 11:40 AM Monday, he called to confirm that they were on en route, so I began getting myself ready to go and meet them when they arrived in Maple Ridge. However, they did not arrive. About an hour later, STS called me again from his cell phone to say that they had been in a car accident and that he and his son were being transported to a nearby EMU in the Coquitlam / Port Moody area (Eagle Ridge Hospital).

I jumped into my van and headed straight out there (about a 45 minute drive). I was relieved to find that both had been checked by doctors and released with apparently only minor injuries, though both were sore and visibly shaken. They were both standing outside the entrance, going over what had happened, and reading the report that they had received from the police who had also attended.

They had been broad-sided by a female in a passenger car, travelling at an estimated 100 km/h, who had ran through a red light, and made no attempt to brake. Fortunately, STS had just seen her coming and in a second had alerted his son, and they both cranked the wheel to avoid a direct T-Bone hit. The direct impact was primarily on the rear passenger side of the vehicle, but they were knocked hard, spinning, and possibly leaving the ground and striking a pole, before coming to rest across the street.

Fortunately there was one witness who stopped and provided a report to the police, indicating that STS and his son had had the right of way and a green light, and that the female driver was entirely at fault.

I drove STS and his son to the wreckers where we collected their belongings from their car, which was a write-off. The doors on the driver's side had been cut out to extract STS's son. There was glass everywhere. It was obvious that they were both very much blessed to be alive and to have come away relatively unscathed. A seconds notice (or less) was all they had had to take evasive action and for their lives and limbs to be spared.

I remained with them for several hours. We had lunch and discussed the accident details further. STS and I were both convinced that their was something “untoward” about this event, if not on the physical plane, then something from the dark side of the spiritual realm. But moreover, that an “intervention” had taken place to save them, as has happened so many, many times before in his past when he seemed to be faced with certain death.

Later, once convinced that they were both well enough to continue their trip, and on the recommendation of the insurance company, I drove them to Hertz Rent-A-Car to rent a vehicle for them to continue on their journey home. Interestingly, Hertz is owned by the Carlyle Group (war profiteers), and the car that they were provided with was a 2009 Matrix. That was kind of creepy!

By the time the paper-work was completed, they had received the car keys, and we had transfered their suitcases etc into the car, it was still Rush-Hour. We decided, therefore, to look for a Cafe, have a coffee and wait for the traffic to thin out before they get on the freeway. We found a little, old Chinese food place a few blocks away. As we sat there chatting, I looked up and noticed a large, old black and white photograph hanging on the far wall and we went over to check it out. It depicted a construction crew eating lunch, sitting on a large I-Beam., suspended in mid-air, high above New York City. It appeared to be a Mohawk crew who were constructing a large high-rise, possibly the Twin Towers! As you may be aware, one of STS's brothers was a foreman on the WTC construction site and those men in the picture were, in all likelihood, Mohawks from the Kahnawake region, like himself.

THAT was a very ironic, and wonderful end to a stressful day, and one which assured us both, that the Great Spirit is watching over us and protecting us in our mission, that this truly is a “spiritual battle”, beyond the physical manifestations, of which we are playing a part, and that we are being guided, supported and protected in this struggle for Truth, Justice and Peace, against the forces of evil.

It left us all smiling, laughing and joking, and more confident than ever that we are on the right path, doing the right thing,for the right reasons, in the right place, at the right time, and that we shall succeed, regardless of what they throw at us. And with that, STS and his son resumed their trip home.

I am sure STS will have more comments of his own about this soon. He will be a guest on Dr. Bill Deagle's Nutrimedical Report on GCN, Wednesday June 10^th, from 2 pm to 3 pm PST, so you may want to tune in.

PS We do not yet know anything about the female driver, but she did survive.

Splitting the Sky has a FIVE Day court case pending in which will he will be presenting evidence of War Crimes and Torture by the Bush administration, and which could possibly set a new legal precedent regarding "Civil Resistance", so there is a possible motive for some people to want to harm or intimidate him.

While it may simply have been an unfortunate "accident" caused by reckless driver, we can rule nothing out at this point, nor will we.

STS provoked by cops and agents, while ignored by Toronto stop war coalition

Dear Friends,

I am sending this to you and would ask you to read Professor Tony Hall's notes on the events leading up to the demonstration on May 29th, 2009 and take notice that he points out that the organizers refused to allow me to speak at this "Arrest Bush/Clinton" demo. (http://warcriminalsout.com/)

One of the organizer of the event whose name is Nadine and I do not yet know her last name told my friend Wayne Prante that "We don't support that!!!" when he politely asked her if I could address the crowd.

It is apparent that she and a few others collaborated with the cops to racistly marginalize me from that event and I am looking further into the possibility that they were aware of the Bush secret service teams that attempted to set me up, by telling me that they had an officer in the field that told them that I told him that I was going to go into the Metro Convention Centre and "hang Bush", (read by implication "assassinate Bush").

I have many witnesses to this provoking of the police forces on site including an independent film crew that witnessed the police units on hand radios telling each other where Splitting the Sky was sitting and calling for backup, we have filmed interviews with the film crew as to what they saw and heard which will appear on the Internet soon.

The sad point of this unfortunate marginalization by the organizers of this event is that they are the same people who organized the tele-conference of George Galloway when he was refused entry into Canada by the RCMP citing the Immigrations and Refugee Act of Canada for fraternizing with terrorists organizations, which is the very same act that I tried to ARREST BUSH on March 17th 2009 by breaking the police line and risking my life to exemplify the need to ARREST war criminals BUSH/CHENEY/CLINTON et al for the crimes of torture and mass murder.

Last of all for the moment, I went over to this Nadine and asked her politely what she meant by "We are not about that", when snubbed to address the people, wherein she replied "she didn't need to explain anything to me"!

My last polite words to her were, "the position of some of the organizers of this demo is what some of us call controlled opposition", to that I she replied "call it what you want".

To all that read this initial report let it be known that I still feel that the people who attended the event were very spirited and that they/we made our voices heard around the world.

I am only questioning what I consider to be some very suspect motives of "some" who infiltrated the inner core of the organizing body of the Toronto anti war (so called "coalition" minus any Native representation on whose land the demo was held).

If she feels she owes no explanation for her racist marginalization of myself on that day then maybe she will be compelled to talk to non native professionals in the form of an inquiry of some sort.

STS vs Bush - News on my trial

Hi all,

on May 14th, in court in Calgary, we were granted a 5 day trial.

Lawyer Charles Davison had asked for 4 days, and we were extremely pleased when the judge replied that we could have 5 days to present evidence. We plan to bring in legal experts as well as victims of torture and war crimes.

We were given nearly a full year to prepare for trial too, which will begin in March 2010. We will circulate a press release about this soon.

Again, we need your financial support to cover the costs, which will be hefty.

It is a documentary concerning the visit by former U.S. President and accused war criminal George W. Bush to Calgary, Alberta, on March 17th, 2009, about efforts by citizen groups to have Bush either barred or arrested for his alleged crimes, and the one man who attempted to arrest Bush, and the reasons why.

This man is a native Mohawk named Dacajeweiah which translates to "Splitting the Sky". His colonialized name is John Boncore. He is a life long activist for Indigenous Peoples, for Truth, Justice, Freedom and Peace.

For his actions, he was arrested and charged with 'Obstruction of a Peace Officer'. He will plead NOT guilty.

His legal defense will be 'Civil Resistance'.

Professor of Law, Francis Boyle (U. of Illinois) states that:

"In 'civil resistance' cases, you have individuals, acting peaceably, who are attempting to prevent the ongoing commission of international crimes for the express purpose of upholding the Rule of Law, the Constitution, International Law, and Human Rights. Such measures must not be confused with acts of 'civil disobedience' as traditionally defined, where protesters were conscientiously violating domestic laws for the express purpose of changing them."

The documentary begins with a TV interview featuring Gail Davidson of Lawyers Against the War, an interview with a former Canadian soldier who formerly hunted war criminals, TV coverage of the demonstration, and then footage of the arrest of Splitting the Sky. This section concludes with political commentary by Canadian comic Alan Park of Driving Tunes.

From there, we carry on to Vancouver where Splitting the Sky spoke to supporters on April 11th, 2009. He discusses his motivations, detailed what happened in Calgary, and speaks about Civil Resistance and what he hopes to achieve with his court case. He is introduced by Wayne Prante, who provides some historical context for the presentation by Splitting the Sky, and some biographical information.

Event next month billed as a 'conversation' between the two most recent U.S. presidents

WASHINGTON — Former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will appear together in Toronto next month on a public stage for the first time since Mr. Bush ended his presidency, in a remarkable twist on the cultural cold war that Barack Obama and others are trying to lay to rest.

The two will be appearing at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on May 29 for a moderated "conversation" that is expected to last about two hours.

It is odd to think of the two presidents seated side by side, chatting amicably about the events of the past 16 years, as they are expected to do, and about the global and domestic challenges facing the United States and Canada.

After all, Mr. Bush set out to dismantle much of what Mr. Clinton accomplished, from balancing the budget to fighting global warming, even as President Barack Obama has set out to erase the Bush legacy by reversing his tax cuts, prohibiting the torture of terrorism suspects, withdrawing from Iraq and rejoining the campaign against greenhouse gases.

Audiences hoping to witness the two men tearing at each other verbally will be disappointed. Presidents do not attack presidents, at least not directly, if only because only presidents know what other presidents go through. Nonetheless, the event is a reminder of the generational and ideological conflicts that some hope are finally diminishing, as combatants age and issues recede in importance.

In that sense, their joint appearance is that of two veterans in a war that some hope may be drawing to an end.

Mr. Clinton and Mr. Bush, both 63, are the only two presidents from the Baby Boom generation. (While Mr. Obama, at 47, technically qualifies, he identifies much more with the Internet-savvy, social-networking Gen-Xers and even the millennials who came along after.) It now appears the two presidents may be the last of their kind.

As such, they embody the ideological struggles over Vietnam, the Generation Gap and other cultural values that ignited in the 1960s and that bedevil America still, in fights over gay rights, gun rights, God in the classroom, pot on the street, protecting the Earth or projecting American power.

Although both presidents demonstrated an ability to compromise in the interests of bipartisan consensus — Mr. Clinton toughened welfare rules while Mr. Bush expanded public health care and funding for education — their opponents saw them only as the personifications of the evil of the other side.

So Mr. Clinton was impeached for abasing his office after lying about an affair with an intern.

And the wild-eyed are still trying to get Mr. Bush and his vice-president, Dick Cheney, tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity for their handling of the war on terror.

The meter doesn't exist to measure the time and energy that has been wasted on all of this.

That Canada snagged the first joint appearance of 42 and 43 can be credited to event planners Andy McCreath and Christian Darbyshire, who landed Mr. Bush for his first post-presidential appearance in Calgary this past March and who have also previously booked numerous events for Mr. Clinton.

Mr. McCreath and Mr. Darbyshire, both in their mid-30s, are presidents of McCreath Communications and tinePublic Inc., respectively. Their other big-name bookings include Tony Blair, Lance Armstrong, Alan Greenspan and Rudy Giuliani.

It is not known whether this occasion will be closed to the press, as was the first Bush event. Ticket prices were also not available. Although speakers' fees are not divulged, there were reports Mr. Bush received as much as $200,000 for his March appearance in Calgary.

The event will consist of the two men seated in chairs between a moderator, who has not yet been chosen.

No matter how civil the discourse, the thought of Mr. Bush and Mr. Clinton on stage together is bemusing, given the animosity of the past 16 years, and the efforts under way to overcome it.

Moderate Democrats and moderate Republicans are struggling in the House and Senate — albeit with indifferent success — to forge an agreement on reforms to health care, education, energy and the environment that both sides can accept and that Mr. Obama can sign.

And the President has taken repeated steps — in his overtures to Cuba, in efforts to create a bipartisan health-care consultation, in releasing the documents confirming that the CIA conducted what amounts to torture, while shielding those who acted in what they believed to be legal good faith — to bury the us-versus-them stridency of the past decades.

He might not succeed. The core of the left and the right stoke each others' antagonism, increasing the difficulty of those seeking consensus.

The media, who feed on conflict, and those who feed off the media also encourage ideological cleavage. So Fox News hosts anti-government tea parties, while MSNBC is mostly pro-Obama. On the Web, the Drudge Report can find nothing good to say about this administration, while Huffington Post huffs that it isn't activist enough.

But there are polls and pundits who suggest that, as the boomers age and socially liberal Gen-Xers and millennials shrug off the old animosities as not worth a tweet, the two former presidents and their most fervent supporters and antagonists might all be receding into historical anachronisms.

It would be interesting to hear what these two old warriors make of all this, even if they are simply shilling for their suppers and their charities.

But then, Mr. Clinton and Mr. Bush would be the very first to tell you that the times have passed them by.

As much as I wish to THANK YOU for your efforts to bring to justice the most
recent iteration of the Fourth Reich (not so...) Shadow Government within the United States,
I also want to applaud you for your incisive comments on the origin of American
democracy in the practices and beliefs of the Iroquois Nations.

Having written recently on the Iroquois Longhouse and the values it manifests,
I was greatly impressed by your brief evocation of the People of the Whole House,
the Haudenosaunee “Great League of Peace and Power.”

Throughout your interview, you demonstrated detailed and nuanced knowledge
(even invoking PNAC and Zbigniew Brzezinski's The Grand Chessboard), fierce
commitment, true compassion, candid and righteous intent, and a clarity of
perspective on the nested layers (from drugs to oil to banking to de facto slavery)
of venal dark interests "steering" our world. You have found the goods, you have
followed the money, and, most crucially, you speak out and take principled action.

Thank you for that. I'm happy to contribute to your legal defense (sent to
you in Chase). Please keep me posted, as I will continue following your efforts.

My old friend Harold Channer dug up an old interview we did in 1993 and has posted it to YouTube!

It concerns an organization which I founded called the League of Indigenous Sovereign Nations (LISN).

The show begins with my brother Kenarahdiyoh in the first 1/2 hour and then me, Dacajeweiah, in the second half hour.

This show will be re-aired on the Public Access Cable Television channels of the Cable Television systems in Manhattan at 10:30 AM (NYC. Time) on Wed. April 22, 2009

the event in Vancouver, went very well, considering it was on such short notice.
Around 40 people attended and donations were generous.

Thanks to all who came out and all who helped with promo! I really appreciate it.
It was recorded and we will post it online asap. CoOp radio will play some portions
on air too in the coming weeks.

I had a great meeting with my Lawyer and our team seems to be coming together nicely.

Unfortunately, it looks there will be no event in Victoria April 11th, but I will be going there

REGARDING VICTORIA on Saturday, April 11th ....

I will be going over on Saturday to tape a TV program, but still have no confirmation of a venue there where I can speak publicly on Saturday night. I am asking ANYONE there who is interested, to PLEASE take the initiative to get a room ANYWHERE you can. I will be meeting with some friends there for dinner at an, as of yet, undetermined location. Those who want to take anonymous cheap shots at me are wasting their own time, not mine. My life is an open book and my personal integrity speaks for itself. If you have something intelligent to say, want to identify yourself, and leave an e-mail address, I am happy to post your comments and to reply to them if time permits, but cowardly, anonymous cheap shot comments are deleted. I don't have time and energy to waste on uninformed morons, sheeple and moral cowards. Such children should either find a playground, or grow up, get a real life, and find out what it means to speak truth to power, and to stand up to tyranny, as I have done all of my adult life.

Protester to fight charges

KAMLOOPS, B.C. -- A B.C. political activist arrested in Calgary during a protest against former U.S. president George W. Bush says he is going to fight the charge against him.

John Boncore, an actor who often uses his aboriginal name Splitting the Sky, was released but faces a charge of obstructing a peace officer connected with the March 17 demonstration.

The 57-year-old* Chase, B.C., resident was at the front of a line of protesters objecting to a visit by the former president, who made his first public speaking engagement in Calgary before 1,500 people at a $400-a-plate luncheon.

Boncore is a 57*-year-old one-time activist with the American Indian Movement who came to prominence during a 31-day standoff between the RCMP and Natives occupying a ranch they said was sacred land at Gustafsen Lake, B.C., in 1995.

Boncore, one of four people arrested in Calgary, said he told the RCMP that Bush should be arrested as a suspected war criminal.

Instead, he said they pushed him to the ground.

"They smashed my head on the ground and broke my glasses and gave me a mild concussion," he said. "Snipers came out from everywhere."

Video of his arrest circulated on the Internet.

"I'm getting kudos from all over the world," Boncore said.

He said the arrest has only heightened his determination to see justice served to those many feel are responsible for violations of human rights in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Ramsey Clark, a former U.S. attorney general under Lyndon B. Johnson and now a human rights advocate, is representing him.

Welcome to AlberTexas, where the wicked are welcome and the righteous are punished.

As heavily armed Calgary City Police Officers, dressed in black, obstruct my attempt to do THEIR job, and to do MY civic duty, to arrest the credibly suspected war criminal George W. Bush, Calgary's fascist elite look on and laugh in joyful triumph, as I am thrown down, stomped on, kicked, handcuffed and led off to be brutalized in a Calgary jail for 24 hours, and later to be charged and tried, all at the expense of the average Canadian citizens and taxpayers. The good people of Canada also had to endure this heinous spectacle and travesty of justice, and an assault on their international reputation.

Did I forget to mention the $500 bail, the conditions on my personal liberty, travel costs, and the cost of my defense team? But what, I ask, is the price of freedom, liberty, and democracy? And what are you prepared to do to keep them, or shall I say, take them back? Will you sit idle and silent while the elite few have their way with you? It may be me in that picture, but it is also YOU, if you do not soon take a stand for truth and justice, and for "peace, order and good government".

Splitting the Sky vs G.W. Bush - first day in court

Hello Everyone!

I went to court today and I had it put over to April 16th, 2009.

The only charge that was read out in court was "Obstruction of a Peace Officer", so it appears that they are already backing away from their original allegations and charges, that I had "assaulted police officers" and "obstructed justice", which of course, I did NOT. Rather, it was I who was "assaulted" (repeatedly) and it was I who was "obstructed" in carrying out my civic duties and moral obligation to arrest George W. Bush. It was THEY (and their political masters) who were subverting the natural, legal, and appropriate course of justice with their own overtly illegal actions, as well as their criminal negligence, by abdicating their duties and responsibilities under law and the principles Nuremberg, and of natural law.

Before the proceedings began, I spoke with a few lawyers who had come out on their own, and who were anxious to handle my case because of the massive exposure it is getting worldwide. Unfortunately, none of them were ready, willing or able to argue my legal defense from the position of "civil resistance" as postulated by the "Lawyers Against War" and by Prof. Francis Boyle (see my previous post). Hopefully these lawyers will look at the info I gave them and consider it. In the meantime, however, it seems I will have to continue to pay someone to argue these point, and I absolutely need your financial as well as moral support.

By the way, my thanks again to Gail Davidson of the Lawyers Against the War. We will meet soon in person to discuss all of our options.

There were a lot of supporters in court today and I wish to thank them all from the bottom of my heart. It appears that this core group may become the organizing body for the long range struggle of what I call the "Tyranny Task Force".

Thanks, by the way, to Tracey for the "Tyranny Response Team" T-shirt he gave me last Summer in Vancouver which inspired that. I wore it proudly on September 11th, 2008 when I spoke outside the House of Parliament during the 9/11 Truth "March on Ottawa" event (the one that Mr. Harper skillfully avoided by dissolving parliament and calling an election only days before).

Our goal is to advocate an ongoing call to the citizens of Canada, and the world, to act universally, to apprehend and to bring to justice, international terrorists, like Bush, and the syndicated war criminals (members of his former regime, their pay masters, and their minions) who are wanted for War Crimes, and Crimes Against Humanity, including TORTURE (just for starters).

We will be there again to greet Ms. Condi Rice when she comes to the University of Calgary in May. Hopefully, by then, many more people will join us and help to raise the bar, and with peaceful, non violent action, attempt to arrest her, as well as to expose and criminally indict the university, sponsors, facilitators, government members, agents and police with war crimes, and Complicity in War Crimes, and Crimes Against Humanity, for "aiding and abetting" the "credibly suspected" and identified International War Criminals, and their syndicate.

A movement has begun here in Texas North!

President Barack Obama said all the right things on 60 Minutes, according to Jonathan Turley. But no mere verbal rebuff to the former vice president will see the law upheld.

If Obama would step out of the way and allow prosecutors to look at evidence of alleged Bush administration war crimes, "it would be the shortest investigation in history," Turley said on a Monday episode of MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show.

President Obama, appearing Sunday on the CBS news program, said the former vice president's policies on the treatment of prisoners captured in President Bush's terror are "unsustainable" and had caused "incredible damage to our image and position in the world."

"The reason Obama seems very irritated by it is that he is responsible for the conversation," said Turley, a constitutional scholar and George Washington University professor. "Because he's the one that is blocking a criminal investigation of Vice President Cheney and President Bush and other Bush officials. It is like a bank robber calling up and asking him to debate bank robbery."

It was only Dec. 15 when the former vice president admitted he approved the interrogation tactics which many, including the international Red Cross, have called torture.

Even Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin (D-MI) called Cheney out for his remarks.

On Tuesday, March 17, Splitting the Sky, a Mohawk activist from Six Nations now residing in Chase, BC, evoked international law and the Canada War Crimes Act by asking the RCMP to arrest ex-US-president G.W. Bush for crimes against humanity as he spoke at the Telus Convention Centre in downtown Calgary.

When police refused his demand to uphold the law, Splitting the Sky attempted to carry out a citizen’s arrest of Bush, pushing his way through the police line with his hands over his head yelling, “I am not touching anyone.” He was arrested and beaten, sustaining a partial concussion and massive hernia. Splitting the Sky was charged with assault and released on $500 bail after being held in jail for 24 hours.

Splitting the Sky is charged with three counts of assault and obstruction of justice. He must return to Calgary court on March 25th at 9:30 a.m. He plans to launch a legal campaign to indict the RCMP, Mayor of Calgary and others for complicity in war crimes for allowing Bush to enter without arresting him.

On Tuesday, March 24, Splitting the Sky will speak in Calgary about his arrest and pending trial, focusing on his campaign to draw international attention to the need for indicting and arresting G.W. Bush for crimes against humanity.

Civilians Enforcing War Crimes Act Arrested While Criminal Gets Away

Indigenous activist Splitting The Sky attempts citizen's arrest of war criminal George W. Bush.

Two civilians who tried to arrest George Bush while he was speaking in Calgary last Tuesday were instead arrested by Calgary Police. One man, Splitting The Sky, was held overnight in jail. Splitting The Sky, a resident of Chase, BC, was charged with assault of police officers and obstruction of justice. The second man, Kelly Hostland from Calgary, was released without charges.

The two men, not connected, were attending a protest rally against George Bush outside the Telus Convention Centre. Two other men were also arrested and have been released.

Under Canada's Crimes Against Humanity & War Crimes Act (2000), anyone reasonably suspected of war crimes or crimes against humanity is indictable under the law, regardless of their status as leader of a nation. Section 6 of the Act explicitly points the responsibility for the crimes to the 'superior' or 'military commander'.

"When citizens of democracies worldwide see that the democratic rule of law has been degraded down to military commissions, then it is necessary for us to resist and indict the war criminals. If the police won't do it, then we have to deputize ourselves and arrest these people," says Splitting The Sky, who holds dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship.

"We need a Nuremberg type trial for George Bush and officials in his administration," he added.

Splitting The Sky successfully entered the Telus Convention Centre, where Bush was scheduled to speak to a select crowd of invited business and political leaders, intending, he says, to make a citizen's arrest of Bush for violations of the War Crimes Act. He was apprehended by CPS before he could reach the former president.

"As a Calgarian, I am embarrassed that the world would think that we would welcome George Bush here and that he was invited to come," says Kelly Hostland.

Both men have since been released from jail.

The protest rally capped a week of anti-Bush events that included a mock trial, public forum and press conference as well as a mini film festival. Approximately 400 people were at the rally.

Splitting The Sky plans to carry on a campaign to give George Bush his day in court. He's organized a panel discussion examining the case against Bush on Tuesday, March 24 at the Calgary Area Outdoor Council. The event starts at 7PM.

In case you have not heard, I attended and participated in the protest in Calgary, outside the Telus Convention Centre where George 'War Criminal' Bush was illegally in Canada to give a speech to the Calgary business elite (aka the Fascism Support Club), leading AlberTEXANS from the Oil, Land Theft and Pollution Industry, and the Canadian War Industry, and sponsored by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce (aka Aiders and Abetters, Inc.) and the Law(less) firm of Bennet Jones.

According to Canadian law, anyone suspected upon reasonable and probable grounds of being a war criminal is not allowed in Canada and is to be barred, or arrested upon arrival, or if found in Canada. There is more than ample evidence available to show that the 'Babbling Bush' falls perfectly within the description of "War Criminal"!

While outside the convention centre, I asked the police several times to arrest Bush, which they refused. As they had abdicated their duty and were now complicit in war crimes and 'aiding and abetting' a war criminal. I felt compelled to intervene on behalf of the many thousands of victims of the Bush administration between 2001 and 2009. I felt it was my moral and civic duty.

First, he backs up his contentions with meticulous research and then hits the audience with the logical result of the preamble, in an extremely intense and convincing manner.

Every speech by Splitting the Sky is an insurrection that you really have to hear in order to appreciate John's ability and logic – so if you get the chance to hear him do not miss it. The rich are only the poor with money but they control the world; and on the occasion of Splitting the Sky's Victoria speech he dealt with the subject matter and conclusion that 9/11 was verifiably a false flag inside job – particularly focusing on the methodology of 'Follow the Money' – i.e. who stood to gain financially from the events of that horrifically evil day of infamy that has changed the world society in which we live. The perpetrators certainly weren't Osama and the nineteen Arabs alleged by the FBI and the American Government. Better to look at rogue elements of the Bush Administration and at various international so-called intelligence agencies such as the ISI, Mossad, and the ever present CIA, the masters of black operations.

I discovered a search engine called Silobreaker which graphically connects dots between various persons, companies, agencies and other keywords, based upon published articles that are available on the internet.

I typed in the name "Alan Greenberg" and, low and behold, it grabbed the article about me and my, my life and my 9/11 Truth investigations by Peter Zaza called "9/11 Truth is Splitting the Sky" [published in the American Chronicle]

In a subscription-based report, Weiss Research, Inc. has reported "George Soros just announced that up to two-thirds of the $1.9 trillion hedge fund industry is about to go belly-up — an event that would force one of the greatest stock market fire sales of all time." (Martin Weiss)

"Speaking at MIT, legendary hedge fund manager George Soros just dropped a huge bombshell: Up to two-thirds of the world’s 10,000 hedge funds — massive investment pools with $1.9 trillion in assets — will FAIL in the weeks ahead.

If he’s right — and if anybody should know, it’s Soros — up to 66% of those $1.9 trillion will soon be dumped onto the market and deal a near-fatal blow to stock investors worldwide." (Mike Larson)

Soros sees 'shakeout' downsizing hedge fund world

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts (Reuters) - The global financial crisis will reduce the hedge-fund industry to as little as a third of its current size, billionaire investor George Soros said on Tuesday.

"The hedge-fund industry is going to move through a shakeout," Soros, one of the world's first hedge-fund managers and still among the best known, said on Tuesday in a speech at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

"In my estimation (the industry) will be reduced in size by anywhere between half and two thirds," he said. He did not specify if he was talking about the number of funds or the amount of money invested in them.

Many of the ultra-wealthy investors who fueled a doubling in hedge-fund industry assets to about $1.9 trillion (1.1 trillion pounds) across roughly 10,000 of the loosely regulated funds worldwide in the last three years have been pulling their money out, fearful of hedge-fund failures.

To stabilize the economy, regulators should oversee credit markets, which will make some aspects of the financial services business less profitable, said Soros, one of the first voices to proclaim the severity of the current financial meltdown.

"You must regulate credit as well as money and that does require more regulation," he added. "Undoubtedly, the financial business will not be as profitable as it has been in the past 25 years."

In recent years, finance companies accounted for as much as 40 percent of U.S. corporate profitability, said Soros.

"That was an excess and that we will not come back to," he said. "Regulation will certainly make some businesses unprofitable and certain businesses that rely on excessive leverage ... will prove to be unworkable."

'NEW MISSION' FOR IMF

Soros, 78, said the International Monetary Fund needs to move to protect emerging markets or else today's global financial system will not last.

"The IMF has a new mission. It has to protect the periphery against the storm at the center," Soros said, referring to the U.S. and developed Western economies that are at the center of the global credit crunch.

"Unless actually the United States now leads an international effort to stabilize the system which includes the peripheral countries, I think the system will not continue."

A staunch Democratic Party supporter, Soros said he did not expect such a move out of the current White House.

"I don't expect this president to do it but I expect the next president to do it because otherwise the system will not continue, there will be a different system that will emerge and the United States will not have the influence that it has today," Soros said.

Soros, chairman of Soros Fund Management, supported U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama during the Democratic primaries, and his views on public policy are more like those of the Illinois senator than his rival for the Oval Office, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Billion-dollar hedge fund managers face hearing- FT

Nov 12 (Reuters) - Hedge fund managers who earned more than $1 billion last year, including George Soros and Philip Falcone, are being summoned to Capitol Hill on Thursday to testify under oath about potential risks their firms pose to the broader economy, the Financial Times said.

The hearing before the House oversight committee will be headed by Democrat Henry Waxman, the paper said.

Soros and Falcone will appear alongside John Paulson of Paulson & Co, James Simons of Renaissance Technologies Corp and Kenneth Griffin of Citadel Investment Group, the paper said.

The five hedge fund managers were chosen because they were the top earners, according to a rough calculation from Alpha magazine, the FT said, citing people familiar with the matter.

The fund managers could not be immediately reached for comment by Reuters.

Hedge fund executives expect the hearing will focus on questions including whether hedge funds have become so large that they threaten the stability of the financial system, either because of the impact of their trading or because of the impact of the failure of even one big hedge fund, the FT said.

A subsidiary question in this regard is whether hedge fund compensation practices encourage reckless risk taking, according to the paper.

Alpha publishes a list of the most highly compensated managers and executives ever year, the paper said adding that many dispute the accuracy of the figures.

Another issue expected to be discussed will be short selling, the paper said.

Hedge fund managers and consultants told the FT the hearings may be a prelude to stiffer regulations.

The paper said the committee said the managers had co-operated with a long list of requests for documents.

Documents requested included e-mails detailing the level of risk associated with each hedge fund, the value of their positions in mortgage-backed securities, the likelihood of the fund's collapse and the compensation and tax treatment of pay received by top managers, according to the paper.

Who's Behind the Economic Collapse?

Considering the problems in the economy, including too much federal debt, too much spending and easy credit, which have been with us for years, ....

why did this crisis suddenly occur only six weeks before the election?

"Socialist or not, Obama is clearly the firm's favorite in the presidential race.

Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Tribune recently discovered that, on May 3, 2007, Obama had attended an event at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan "that was not on his public schedule and is only now surfacing-a private dinner for Goldman Sachs traders with a discussion on issues moderated for the Wall Street firm by NBC's Tom Brokaw"-the moderator of the second presidential debate.

Her column notes other Obama campaign connections to Goldman Sachs and mentions that Bloomberg had reported that Obama addressed the Goldman's annual partners meeting 2006 in Chicago.

It is not known, of course, what kind of illegal financial activities may have contributed to the current crisis. But based on what has been publicly said by the President and the SEC, the culprits could possibly include operators of the controversial, mysterious and secretive financial vehicles known as hedge funds.

A hedge fund operator such as George Soros, who was convicted of insider trading in France, is known to make money from the collapse of national economies and currencies. Labeled "The Man who broke the Bank of England" because of his financial activities against the British currency, he is said to be on a witness list of hedge fund operators that will be called to testify before Congress next month-probably after the election.

One wonders if the Democrats controlling Congress will want to investigate or even aggressively question the multi-billionaire. It is significant, as I noted in a January column, that Soros pours millions of dollars into the Democratic Party, its front groups and candidates. But his agenda goes far beyond making himself rich. He provides funding for causes ranging from marijuana legalization to rights for immigrants, criminals, and prostitutes.

The same column I wrote noted that the Wall Street Journal in January had reported that hedge fund operator John Paulson received a visit from Soros, who is also a public supporter of and contributor to the Obama campaign, after Paulson had made about $4 billion betting on a housing market collapse. Soros wanted to know how he had done it. But Soros wouldn't talk to the Journal about his meeting with Paulson. Why?

Soros gets away with a "no-comment" because he pours money into journalism organizations, including the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Fund for Investigative Journalism, and Investigative Reporters & Editors, thereby guaranteeing that they won't investigate how and where he gets his money. Isn't this convenient?

A recent example of this conflict of interest came in Bill Moyers' October 10 interview of Soros on the Public Broadcasting Service. Moyers lavished Soros with praise, saying that he is "one of the world's best known and successful investors, making billions in times of boom or bust." Moyers also mentioned Soros's new book, The New Paradigm for Financial Markets: The Credit Crisis of 2008 and What It Means.

Moyers said that, in the interest of "full disclosure," he should reveal that that he, Moyers, had served on the board of Soros's Open Society Institute. Moyers laughingly insisted that was a non-political position on his part.

Not once did Moyers question Soros about his reported discussions with John Paulson. Not once did he question whether Soros's financial activities had facilitated or precipitated the current financial crisis that he writes about in his book.

Soros insists that one contributing factor to the crisis was the lack of financial regulation. But he takes advantage of the lack of those regulations. Indeed, as I reported back in 2005, one Soros company was a member of the Managed Funds Association, which describes itself as "the global voice for the hedge fund industry" and was actively fighting an SEC proposal to impose more regulation on hedge-fund managers.

The ranking of top hedge fund earners for 2007 shows John Paulson of Paulson & Co. at $3.7 billion and George Soros of Soros Fund Management at $2.9 billion.

Is there anybody in the media willing to question Soros about how he made that money? And whether it came at the expense of the American people?"

Senator Schumer Leaks Negative Financial Information

For months, Senate Democrats have been leaking negative financial information—exploiting market sensitivities for political gain—choreographed to burst precisely when it would do the most damage. Senator Chuck Schumer ignited this by leaking a letter regarding the lending practices of troubled Indy Mac. Indy Mac failed when the Schumer letter caused a “liquidity crisis,” where depositors withdrew over a billion dollars. Over three thousand people, half its employees, lost their jobs in the resulting collapse. As a member of the Senate banking committee, Schumer knew the impact on the market. He used confidential regulatory information and set the stage for the “crisis” the Democrats prosper from today. Power is everything, and those who suffer for Democrat ambition matter not at all. Schumer knew exactly what he was doing.

Susan Schmidt with the Wall Street Journal explains that Senator Schumer released these letters publically.

Sen. Schumer released publicly letters he sent to bank regulators and to the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. “I am concerned that Indy Mac’s financial deterioration poses significant risks to both taxpayers and borrowers,” the senator wrote, warning that “the bank could face a failure if prescriptive measures are not taken quickly.” Link

Some have speculated that Senator Schumer leaked the Indy Mac information as a way to reduce stock prices for his investor friends. Although this is possible, his motivation may have been more political in nature. A conspiracy to hasten the economic crash and to churn the stock market is certainly in the realm of possibility. In the past, economic downturns have tended to favor the Democratic Party.

What makes this more interesting is Senator Schumer’s staunch support of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as seen in the Fox News Special Report on the Banking Crisis. It should be noted that Schumer is the only Senate Democrat who sits on both the banking and finance committees. Because of the committee position and the fact he is the number 3 member of the Senate majority leadership he is privy to a great deal of information and knowledge of what the information can do.

What Did the Disclosure Accomplish?

So why does Senator Schumer, who so adamantly supported these questionable loan practices, now leak a letter regarding the lending practices of Indy Mac just months before the election? Lance Fairchok says there are four reasons:

1. Distract the voter from the reality that the Democrat-controlled congress is so bumbling and corrupt that its approval ratings are in the single digits.
2. Save failing Democratic-supported mortgage companies Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and avert, for a time, their disastrous effect on the economy and the Democratic Party image.
3. Confuse the electorate into believing that the Republicans are to blame for the financial meltdown, while in reality it was they who have been calling for oversight.
4. Create the impression that Obama is a reformer, which he most certainly is not. Only Senator Dodd (D-CT) and John Kerry (D-MA) have received more money in campaign contributions from Freddie and Fannie than Barack Obama.

Does it make sense for a person that has publically supported Fannie and Freddie to release a letter about the imminent failure of Indy Mac? Since Senator Schumer sits on the banking and finance committees, surely he would have known this disclosure would cause wide spread panic and very likely hasten the collapse of Indy Mac. Could there be something else at foot? It is very likely that the Senator knew about the troubles at Fannie and Freddie, so it stands to reason that this was an effort to create the type of economic chaos that would favor Obama.

The Role of the ABX Index in the Economic Crash

An Ed Lasky article called Hedge Funds, Politics, and the Market Crash tells about Hedge Funds role in the economic crash. Again there are links to Schumer and a powerful far left billionaire.

the heart of the mortgage mess is uncertainty regarding the value of subprime mortgages. The ABX Index is used to determine the value of these securities: it is a benchmark of the market for all the home loans issued to borrowers with weak credit. A collapse of this index leads to these home loans being marked down in value. … The Wall Street Journal has noted that there is criticism “that the ABX is manipulated by hedge funds”. So when the ABX subprime mortgage index crashed, so did our economy.

What hedge fund managers profited by this crash? One of those that made huge profits was the legendary hedge fund manager, George Soros, who has been a political powerbroker of unrivaled influence within the Democratic Party. Soros made $100’s of millions if not billions off the economic crash. Soros’s hedge fund is based overseas and therefore escapes much scrutiny and regulation.

Hedge fund managers only pay 15% tax on their income where we pay up to 35% on income tax. Senator Schumer was among the Senate Democrats who recently led the fight against taxing hedge funds at a higher rate. Why would he protect these managers? Maybe because in the first half of 2007, Senator’s Schumer’s Campaign Committee raised nearly $2 million from executives and employees of private equity and hedge funds.

Economic Terrorism?

The last piece in this puzzle is articulated by Neal Cavuto in HotAir’s “Economic terrorism”: Huckabee wonders if someone’s trying to drive the market down. Huckabee tells of a very respectable trader who saw massive trading in the last hour of trading for the first 12 days of October. He thinks this may be economic terrorism, and he suggests that the government to look into the issue.

This questionable activity could just computer programs kicking out trades, but on the other hand could be something very suspect. It is widely understood that economy problems would break the election in Obama’s favor. So it’s entirely possible that someone with deep pockets could churn the stock market. Could a liberal billionaire, like a George Soros, manipulate the market in an effort to impact the election? How much money would it take to make the markets so volatile? Did this volatility continue after Neal Cavuto’s interview with Mike Huckabee?

Reaping the Benefits!

So we have Senator Schumer publically disclosing Indy Mac financial troubles, which leads to a run on the bank. Then the media picks up the Indy Mac story followed by the exposure of the Fannie and Freddy troubles. George Soros, the far left hedge fund manager, profits handsomely from the crash. Someone churns the stock market in the last hour of trading for 12 days. Could this churn have been from a Soros type billionaire for more profits or to help Obama’s chances in the election?

After the financial crash became public, the Democrats, with the help of the main stream media, successfully assigned the blame to the Republicans and to Bush’s economic policies. This, despite the fact, that three of the primary causes of the crash were the Community Reinvestment Act, the lack of oversight of Freddie and Fannie and possible Hedge Fund manipulation. Certainly the first two if not the third of these failings can be fairly laid at the doorstep of the Democrats. Yet in the wake of the financial crisis, Obama surged in the polls from an essentially even race to more than a 5 point lead.

Clearly, the reasons for the Fannie and Freddie failures should be investigated. But in addition, Federal authorities should also investigate the issues presented in this paper. If true any of these events strike at the heart of our election process. Are they coincidences, or are they part of an orchestrated effort similar to those espoused by Saul Alinsky? A conspiracy or conspiracy theory, you decide.

Obama to Inherit “New Global Order” from Bush

The bankruptcy of Iceland, now receiving a $2.1 billion two-year loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) “to support an economic recovery program,” has been depicted as something that could never happen to America. Is the U.S. too big to fail? Or is the U.S. going through the same process, albeit on a slower basis?

Will we wake up to discover that America is now a bit player in a “New World Order” dominated by China, rich Arab nations, and international institutions?

The politicians from both major U.S. political parties are attempting, with the help of the media, to mask what is happening by passing what they call a financial “rescue” and economic “stimulus” packages. The word “stimulus” is sort of like “rescue.” This is actually a process of piling up more debt and spending on top of more debt and spending. This puts us more at the mercy of those who decide to lend us money.

On November 15, the crisis goes global, as the Bush White House hosts an “international summit” designed, in the words of some of those participating, to create new “international financial architecture.” This means increasing the power and financial resources of international agencies like the IMF, possibly by implementing global taxes on the U.S. and other nations.

Anticipating the event, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says the current turmoil in the world economy offers a chance to build a “new global order” based on cooperation and opportunity. Brown summarized his approach as “internationalist, interventionist and progressive,” says a release from his office.

And all of this is happening under a “conservative” U.S. President by the name of George W. Bush.

Many of those attending the Washington, D.C. event will be associated with the Socialist International, which issued a statement calling for the new international financial architecture to include a World Financial Organization. A World Tax Organization can be expected to follow. It has been on the U.N. drawing board for years.

The first meeting of the Socialist International Commission on Global Financial Issues was held in Vienna, Austria, on November 3, and suggested “tackling the issue of insufficient financial resources in multilateral institutions and regional development banks by seeking new sources of funding and lending facilities, as well as more fundamental reforms in the global economic governance.” This is bureaucratic doublespeak for finding new foreign aid money, possibly through a global tax, and cutting the U.S. down to size economically.

One of the key members of this Socialist International commission is Columbia University Professor Joseph Stiglitz, a “revolutionary” economist who was named by Miguel D’Escoto, the new Marxist President of the U.N. General Assembly, to run a U.N. task force on international financial matters. Stiglitz, a key player in the emerging “New Global Order,” wrote a Sunday Washington Post article urging more foreign aid spending, a new global warming treaty reducing U.S. use of energy, and an expensive carbon tax on Americans.

On October 13, Stiglitz was among a group of economists meeting with Democratic politicians on Capitol Hill to devise their new economic “stimulus” plan. Obama says he wants this “stimulus” as soon as possible.

In a release from the World Economic Forum, Suzanne Nora Johnson, Senior Director of Goldman Sachs, USA, and a Trustee of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, declared that the Washington summit “gives us great opportunities to find solutions and new ways of looking at the world.” Johnson says that, while there has been “protectionist reaction” in the U.S. to sovereign wealth fund investments, as a result of the liquidity crisis there would now be greater openness to such deals. Sovereign Wealth Funds are government financial entities based in China and several Arab/Muslim states.

In this context, the Center for Security Policy and other groups recently held a news conference to draw attention to how the Treasury Department is planning to implement aspects of Islamic banking in the U.S. In a release, the Coalition Against Shariah declared that, “It is especially alarming that the Treasury Department is now in a position to impose its submission to Shariah on the various financial institutions which it has bought in recent weeks or otherwise controls. With the nationalization of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, its purchase of―at last count―17 banks and the enormous leverage associated with its $700 billion slush-fund, Treasury can be an irresistible force should it actively promote Shariah-Compliant Finance.”

The release notes with alarm that Assistant Treasury Secretary Neel Kashkari, the official charged with administering the bailout “slush fund,” delivered the welcoming remarks at a November 6 Treasury event titled “Islamic Finance 101” It seemed designed to attract more Arab/Muslim dollars into the U.S. financial system.

It is apparently the Treasury’s view that America’s only hope in this financial crisis is to print more money through the Federal Reserve and attract more foreign money, especially from China and the Arab states. Perhaps the U.S. will even have to go to the IMF for financial help. Nothing can be ruled out at this point because no one seems to know how bad it will get.

But none of this will come without a steep cost. And we can see already that....

the cost will include not only our wealth, savings and retirement accounts, but the sovereignty of the United States.

Obama sends man linked with terror group and George Soros to deal with Egypt/Syria

News services in Israel are on fire with talk that Barack Obama has just sent a supporter of the terror group Hamas as his envoy to Syria and Egypt to relay news of his policies to come. Last September Israel's suspicions were heated up about "former" Obama advisor Robert Malley being sent to Syria with a George Soros funded group. It was then claimed by Egyptian sources that Malley was still working as an advance man for Obama which angered Israelis because six months earlier Malley announced that he had held "regular meetings" with Hamas. At that time, Malley's comment caused the Obama camp to hurriedly distance the candidate from any connection with Malley. But, with the election over, it seems that Obama's claims that Malley didn't really work for him are not quite true. It also seems that we already have the very first example of Obama sticking his finger in the eye of our allies in Israel. Naturally, the U.S. press is not reporting this news. In September of this year, Robert Malley caused consternation among people that stand against the terror group Hamas when he went to Syria to work for a group called the International Crisis Group — a George Soros funded NGO also chaired by other doyens the far left. Some thought that he was secretly there as an Obama advance man, but there is no real proof that he was there in that capacity at that time so the story died down.

As mentioned, back in May Malley reported that he held "regular meetings" with the Palestinian terror group Hamas causing Israelis quite a lot of heartburn. To appease Israel's supporters in the U.S. at that time, the Obama camp threw Malley under the bus. (Bold mine)

He has no formal role in the campaign and he will not play any role in the future

Yet, despite claims that Malley would not have a "role in the future," now word has emerged that Malley was just sent to Egypt and Syria this week as an envoy for Barack Obama causing at least one harshly worded report in Israel to claim that Obama "lied" about Malley earlier this year.

This is disheartening news for any supporter of Israel and bad news about the direction that Obama could be taking with his foreign policy in the Mid East. If Obama is willing to so early upset the Israelis by sending a man to Egypt known to have direct ties to terror groups, what does that say about his ideas on policy in that turbulent region? And why would an American president hire such people for his foreign policy team, anyway? This should also make one wonder if Obama was telling the truth back in May? And, if Malley has been hauled up from under the bus, does this make all the others Obama rolled over on his way to the White House suddenly back in the clear? Are we to understand with this sudden rehabilitation of Malley as a trusted Obama representative that just any of the people that Barack claimed he wasn't really working with during the campaign are back in his good graces? So, can we or can we not believe a word that Obama said about any of those he felt obliged to distance himself from during the election?

Will we soon see a William Ayers touring the White House as a guest instead of a murderous bomber? Will uncle Rev. Wright suddenly be back on the Christmas party invite list so he can see for himself where the AIDS epidemic to kill all blacks was planned?

Maybe the harsh words that the Israeli newser had for Obama are not so far off base?

Unfortunately, according to USNORTHCOM, specific information about Vigilant Shield scenarios will not be available for weeks, permitting less time to analyze the situation.

Once an urban area has been designated an exercise target, that designation increases its odds of actually experiencing a future false flag attack. It takes considerable resources to corrupt an area, and false flag insiders like to get a return on investment. Since Houston, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, and Phoenix have already been “prepared” in prior exercises, they remain especially vulnerable. More Evidence of 9/11 Foreknowledge Revealed

Senior Corporate Executives Warned to Leave N.Y. on 9/11: Source

Foreign Policy Journal has learned that senior executives of a major U.S. international corporation may have been warned to leave New York on September 11, 2001.

According to an inside source, one of the senior executives of the corporation told him beforehand that “something big” was going to occur and so other corporate executives would be travelling out of New York.

The source, who spoke to the Journal on the condition of anonymity, worked at a European branch of the media giant Warner Bros. He served as the number two under the managing director of that office, a man with whom he had developed a close personal friendship. His boss was also friends with one of the senior executives at the head office in Los Angeles. According to the source, he had been told by his director that the executive in L.A. had formerly worked for the CIA and still kept in touch with the agency.

There have been numerous other indications that individuals within the U.S. had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks.

One such indication was the evidence of insider trading in the days just prior. Short selling and trading in put options, which are essentially bets that stock will drop, skyrocketed over a period of days before 9/11 only in companies that were directly affected.

For instance, purchases were made on 4,744 put options for United Airlines between September 6 and 7. On September 10, purchases were placed on 4,516 put options for American Airlines. United and American were the two airlines that had planes hijacked and destroyed in the attacks. There was no similarly unusual trading in other airlines.

Other companies directly affected also experienced a spike in the purchase of put options, such as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Merril Lynch, both of which had offices in the World Trade Center.

Numerous countries around the world, including the U.S., Japan, Germany, the U.K., France, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Spain, opened investigations into what had apparently been insider trading based on foreknowledge of the attacks.

Together, these purchases were worth millions. Yet with the reports of insider trading and foreknowledge circulating in the media, whoever was responsible chose not to collect the money.

One of the banks involved in the purchases was Alex Brown, the U.S. branch of the German Deutsche Bank, which was headed until 1998 by A.B. “Buzzy” Krongard. He afterwards joined the CIA, and was Executive Director of the agency at the time of the attacks.

Trading is monitored through special software in real time by the CIA, so the agency would have been aware of the suspicious activity in the days just prior to the attacks.

Despite all this, the FBI announced that its own investigation had turned up no evidence that anyone had tried to profit from inside knowledge that the attacks would occur.

According to the 9/11 Commission Report, which echoed the conclusion of the FBI, 95 percent of the purchases on United and American Airlines shares on September 6 and 10, respectively, were made by a single U.S. based institutional investor.

Robert Baer is a former CIA case officer and author of “Sleeping with the Devil” and “See No Evil”, which served as the basis for the film “Syriana” starring George Clooney. Baer told Stewart Howe and Jeremy Rothe-Kushel of the L.A. branch of the organization We Are Change, “I know the guy that went into his broker in San Diego and said ‘cash me out, it’s going down tomorrow.’” Baer added that “his brother worked at the White House.”

Baer also indicated that the 9/11 Commission Report had been a cover-up of what really happened and questioned why certain other oddities about 9/11 had not been investigated, such as “the famous white van”, which he said was “an intriguing story” that “deserves a book”.

He was referring to the case of the five Israelis who were witnessed on 9/11 celebrating beside their white van at the sight of the smoking towers from a parking lot in New Jersey. They were later arrested and detained. Upon arrest, the driver of the van told the arresting officers, “We are Israeli. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are the problem.”

The van was registered to an Israeli-owned company called Urban Moving Systems, whose owner immediately closed shop and fled to Israel. At least two of the five Israelis witnessed videotaping and celebrating the attacks were learned to be operatives of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency.

In other reporting that may or may not have been related to the five Israelis with the white van, it became known publicly that an enormous Israeli spy ring had been uncovered operating within the United States.

Reports of investigations into Israeli spying within the U.S. had emerged early in 2001. After 9/11, Fox News reported that according to investigators the Israeli intelligence operatives of a large spy ring may have gathered information in advance about the attacks of 9/11, but that the evidence for this was classified.

As part of the operation, Israelis posed as art students. Under the guise of selling art, they targeted government officials at their offices or homes, including members of the military, the DEA, the FBI, and other law enforcement and intelligence personnel.

One group of the Israeli “art students” lived at 4220 Sheridan St. in Hollywood, Florida, just down the street from the 3389 address where Mohammed Atta and three of the other 9/11 hijackers lived.

In addition, almost all the call records and billing for U.S. phone companies is handled by an Israeli-based private communications company called Amdocs Ltd. The NSA had warned other U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies about the potential security breaches that this situation might make possible.

There was some evidence that wiretaps were indeed being compromised. Law enforcement officials observed that suspects under surveillance suspiciously changed their behavior after wiretaps began, according to officials who spoke to Fox News.

It’s known that the DEA had also been investigating Israeli organized crime involved the multi-billion dollar ecstasy trade.

The FBI had also been investigating Amdocs and there were fears that even the telephone lines in the White House, which were installed by Bell Atlantic and Amdocs in 1997, might have been compromised.

According to a leaked DEA report from that agency’s investigation into the Israeli spy ring, one of the “art students” who was arrested was held on a $10,000 bond that was placed by an Israeli man named Ophir Baer who was in the U.S. under employment by Amdocs.

Another Israeli company, Comverse Infosys, was responsible for providing wiretapping for U.S. law enforcement. But, again, there was a fear among U.S. agencies that the wiretaps themselves could be intercepted by unauthorized parties through a back door in the Comverse system. Adding to these fears was the fact that Comverse was reimbursed for up to half of its research and development costs by the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Comverse was partnered with an Israeli messaging service company called Odigo. The Israeli paper Haaretz reported that workers at Odigo, which had offices near the World Trade Center, had received warnings on the morning of September 11 of an impending attack. The Washington Post confirmed that two employees of Odigo had “received text messages warning of an attack on the World Trade Center two hours before terrorists crashed planes into the New York landmarks.”

There is no direct evidence that the Israeli government or any Israeli nationals were involved in 9/11. In fact, Mossad had reportedly warned the U.S. intelligence community of an impending attack, including the potential that it might come in the form of hijackings. The possibility remains that Israeli intelligence came across the information leading to its warnings to the U.S. during the course of the extensive operation that was broken up in 2001.

There have also been several other incidents possibly related to the apparent insider trading before 9/11. In one case, a German firm, Convar, was hired to attempt to retrieve data from the hard drives of computers destroyed as a result of the attacks on the World Trade Center. In doing so, it was discovered that there had been transactions of unusually large sums of money through some systems in the WTC, leading to the suspicion that someone with insider knowledge had illegally transferred as much as $100 million through the system as the attacks unfolded.

In May 2002, the FBI raided the home of Amr Ibrahim Elgindy, who was held on charges of racketeering, extortion, and obstruction of justice. He was later convicted. According to the indictment, Elgindy had led a ring of traders that included two FBI agents, Jeffrey A. Royer and Lynn Wingate, who used their access to confidential databases to give Elgindy inside information about publicly traded companies. The prosecutor in his case said there were indications he might have had foreknowledge of the attacks, since he had predicted a huge drop in the market and ordered the sale of $300,000 worth of stock in his children’s trust fund on September 10.

The compelling evidence of insider foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks has been largely dismissed. This is perhaps most evident by the conclusions of the 9/11 Commission report itself, which also stated that there was no evidence of any involvement by any foreign government or government official and that the question of who financed the attacks is “of little practical significance”, despite reports that Mahmud Ahmed, the head of Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence agency, or ISI, had been responsible for authorizing the transfer of $100,000 to hijacker Mohammed Atta. This information was received by the Commission.

Bob Graham, who co-chaired the 9/11 Joint Inquiry with Porter Goss, has also said there is evidence of the involvement of a foreign government. The 9/11 Commission made no attempt to explain or reconcile the disparity between its conclusions and those of Graham or the reports of the ISI chief’s involvement.

In another strange twist, Graham and Goss were having breakfast in Washington with General Ahmed on the morning of September 11 as the planes struck the towers. Ahmed was in Washington visiting his counterpart at the CIA, George Tenet, as well as a number of other high-level officials. Both Graham and Goss had also travelled to Pakistan where they met with the ISI chief just a couple weeks before Ahmed’s reciprocal visit.

Goss was later appointed Director of Central Intelligence.

I am not so sure about that statement. Certainly there is a lot of circumstantial evidence. Taskforce 121 or Team 121, Zim and Urban Moving may provide a link. I have spoken about this several recent radio interviews, based on research by Tom Hennigan and others. Again, however, this would have been in conjunction with the CIA, ISI and SAS.

OVERVIEW OF EVENTS
In 1995, after a long history of peaceful attempts to have Shuswap sovereignty respected, indigenous people from the Shuswap and other nations and a few non-indigenous supporters took a stand on sacred Sundance lands at Ts'Peten, aka Gustafsen Lake. People came to the Sundance grounds after a call for help went out, in response to threats made by a local rancher and his hired goons. Shortly afterwards the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) surrounded the Ts'Peten Defenders and held the people there under siege. Over the next month police, politicians, and media escalated the situation to make the siege the most expensive domestic military operation in Canada's history. Miraculously, there was only one casualty -- a dog deliberately killed by a police sniper firing at two unarmed people and the animal as they fled from police gunfire and armored personnel carriers.
It could well be argued that there was another casualty at Ts'Peten: justice. The people inside the encampment were forced to endure the longest criminal trial in Canadian history. After over a year of astonishing testimony by police (including open admissions of a "smear and disinformation campaign" against the Ts'Peten Defenders and lawyer Bruce Clark), thirteen of the Defenders received jail sentences.
Three of the Defenders appealed the verdicts on the grounds that the land where the siege took place is native land, and therefore the settler (non-native) courts have no jurisdiction. In early November, the BC Supreme Court refused to hear the appeal. From the beginning of the standoff, Defenders have for an impartial, independent inquiry into the ongoing usurpation of native jurisdiction. Since the end of the standoff, Defenders have called for an additional inquiry into the government and military siege of the Sundancers and their supporters, and the ensuing cover-up.

6. STS and SHEILA continue to reveal how the RCMP testified in court about how their massacre plan went down, totally contradicting the mass media that spread a completely different "lie version", also concocted by the RCMP.

7. This is where the RCMP try to sniper shoot an unarmed man. The "eye in the sky" video shows that they totallylied about it in court and tried to coverup their attempted murder.

8. The second part of the "sniper" video and STS assessing the situation; calling for a public enquiry, and stating the obvious that there is clear evidence of genocide, perpetrated by the Canadian state and their hired guns.

In the summer of 1995, a month-long standoff occurred between Indigenous peoples & police near 100 Mile House, in the BC southern-interior. This land is the ancestral homeland of the Secwepemc (Shuswap).

Altogether, over 450 heavily-armed officers from various RCMP Emergency Response Teams (ERT), with military assistance, including 9 armoured personnel carriers, were deployed against some 24 defenders (many of whom were women & children).

In the end, it would be the largest RCMP paramilitary operation in Canadian history, costing over $5 million. Nearly half of this, $2.3 million, was for RCMP overtime.

The incident began after a local white rancher began demanding that a Secwepemc Sundance camp leave land to which he claimed ownership. Despite harassment from the rancher & his cowboys, members of the camp were determined to stay.

Although local Native RCMP officers regularly visited the camp on patrols, they saw little need to intervene and viewed the dispute as a civil matter between the Natives & the rancher. The title of the land itself was in question, not just by Indigenous sovereigntists: had James bought the land, or did he lease it, making it ‘Crown land’?

These cops advised their superiors there was no need for armed intervention, and believed the dispute could be settled through negotiations.

Senior RCMP officers, however, saw it as an opportunity to carry out a major paramilitary operation. All through the spring there had been road-blocks, at one location or another, in the province.

"The charges against me resulted from the fact that I accused the judge of
misprison of treason, fraud and complicity in genocide, which is a charge
I can substantiate in terms of hard law.

In response to that charge, the judge became hysterical and had the police
officers assault me at the counsel table in court. I defended myself. Now,
having sort of clarified the factual basis for the charges, the reason I'm in exile
is because in order to cover up the crimes in which our Canadian judiciary
are engaged, this one judge has cited me for contempt of court. That is,
basically, he is insisting that I recant the truth, apologize and, if not, the
threat is, I will be kept in jail until I do that. This is absolutely an outrageous
overturning of every principle on which the rule of law is based.

I don't propose to sacrifice the interests of my clients in pursuing justice by allowing
the criminal court, and that is the judges who are behaving in a criminal fashion, to
essentially silence the messenger by keeping me in jail indefinitely.

My point is that in order to address the law you have to look at the whole law, the same
as when you look at the facts, you have to look at the whole truth. Now the whole law in
this case consists of the constitutional law and the criminal law. The constitutional law
upon which this country was founded since the 18th century says that where judges assume
jurisdiction in unsurrendered Indian territory by definition they are guilty of misprison of
treason and fraud. The fact is that occurred in British Columbia, notably in 1864, Judge
Begbie had hung a group of Chilcoltin Indians. In hard constitutional law, that was an act
of murder by the judge. Now when you say we must look at the law and we must follow
these judicial processes - that is exactly my point.
